Tomorrow I will go to work<\/span><\/p>\n

And a classroom will not just be a classroom<\/span><\/p>\n

Tomorrow we will be reminded that cemeteries\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Are not the only existing graveyards\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We will lay words of remembrance as flowers\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To keep those no longer here alive<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, reminded us that children\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

are still seen as bullet practice<\/span><\/p>\n

That their age does not guarantee long life\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tomorrow I will convince my students that they are not dispensable\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I will teach them how to wear their story and courage like armor\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I will teach them how to sift through their emotions and articulate each one so that they are never articulated through the click of a gun<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>And you will ask us why this theater stuff matters<\/span><\/p>\n

And I will tell you,<\/span><\/p>\n

We are teaching them how to be human<\/span><\/p>\n

So that they never forget\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So that they never let their own feelings blind them from taking another humans life<\/span><\/p>\n
